My name is Amanda Painter and i'm a self taught artist with the most awesome and Convienient last name lol I Just started painting a little over a year ago but have been drawing my whole life. I was the shy quiet kid in school that would sit in the back of the class pencil in hand already drawing horror art in elementary school. Even got in trouble for drawing Freddy Krueger in class when I was seven years old lol I'm always learning new things each time I create a new work of art. As you can see I love painting horror related themes. I'm a metal music fanatic and jam out paint brush in hand haha I sell my work on ebay which has been working out pretty well so far. Thanks for checking my stuff out and I greatly appreciate all feedback and faves. =)

I've had alot of people ask me "Why do you only paint horror? Why always things that are so dark?" So I thought i'd put an explaination here. :D
When something is visually boring to me and mundane I find it really boring to paint it. Things that are horror related catch my eye and are great fun to put on canvas. The more fun i'm having the better the end result is. Alot of artists have specific interests that they focus on. Mine just happens to be horror. I find beauty in the scariest of places. And I find things that are scary VERY interesting. No plain faces, no pretty portraits, pets....those things just do not capture my imagination an
